Infinite Stories translated into English

2017-08-12 EindelozeVerhalenThis year I will translate the Infinite Stories into English. Therefore, more and more readers worldwide can read the stories about Gaméla, her brother Sisoi and their parents.

At this time there are 23 episodes full of imaginary adventures based on real facts about the history of the Yahgan Indians. All stories are already available in Dutch and Spanish. Four episodes are already published in English. In the following year, the episodes 5-23 will also become available in English. These ‘Infinite Stories’ do not have an ending: you can continue writing on a story, comment on it, make a drawing, or use it as part of the courses in the final grades of elementary school. In English, the stories are called ‘Infinite Stories’.

For readers in English there are sources of information on the history, habits and customs of the Yahgans available from the Martin Gusinde Museum in Puerto Williams (Cape Horn / Chile). See the English chapters of: ‘Yagán Martin Gusinde Museum Book’ or ‘Martin Gusinde Museum Publications‘.

I would like to thank Max Hoogenraad-Veeren and Patricia Hendriks for reading and commenting on my translations.
